What is MACA and where can it be found? Thanks! I made the raw brownie from your latest recipe even though I didn't get to see all the video as it messed up. My brownies were great. Will make again!

What do you recommend as a substitute for the gojies? I'm not really allergic, but they cause me a lot of heart pain. Thanks.

Hi Vicki, it depends where you do your shopping. I don't know what prices are like where you are, but this would cost me roughly 20$ to make. So, it would for sure be a treat, but since I don't drink and neither does my sweetie, that Friday night 20$ case of beer can be replaced by this. A much healthier and way tastier treat than any beer! :)

Thanks, Audrey!!! I'll try Whole Foods Market in Houston and see if that store carries it, if not I'll order it online so I can try the receipe. Thanks for the website!

Coconut oil would work. It would be less resistant to heat: you would have to eat it right off the fridge! or it would melt away!

Maca is a powder made from root. You can only find the powder. and gojies are little red berries that have a very powerful nutrition value. you can both find those ingredients in Wholefood or health food stores! Good luck!

It's the first time i'm hearing that gojies are causing herat pain. Sorry to hear that! They could be replaced by raisins. Mulberries would be very good too if you like the taste.

YOu can find maca (powder) in wholefoods, healthfood stores or on the internet. Check out this web store, they have a good supply: Raw Food World Thanks for letting me know about the video! I need to change the music which is causing the video to drag...

What brand of cacao butter do you use? I'm having a hard time finding just cacao butter. I found a product call "Cacao Bliss" at a local health food store. It has coconut oil in it will this work for the receipe?

Hi Vickie. I guess this would work if it's a blend of cacao butter and coconut oil. Coconut oil melts at a lower temperature than cacao butter that's why the recipe works better with cacao butter. If you're in the US you can order Raw Cacao Butter here: >>CLIK HERE<< If you're in Europe you can Order here: >>CLICK HERE<< xx

Dear Audrey, If Maca powder is not available what would you use instead? Is Maca the sweetner in this recipe besides agave? Thanks
