wouahou! A raw wedding! Love it! I'm not sure about the cost of 1 tart, it would depends on the size of the cake mold. I reckon I spent around 10 pounds for 8 tarts... But if you buy in bulk obviously your cost would be lower!

Hi Tanya! Yes, it's always better to soak nuts before eating them. It's easier to digest this way! xx Audrey

Hi Audrey - Yum your tarts look truly delectable! However, I am concerned that there are a lot of nuts in the pastry - is there anything else that I could substitute for the pastry. Thank you and thanks for sharing your recipes.

These look amazing!! Any ideas on the cost of each one? I'm looking at raw options for an upcoming wedding. Thanks, Lumina

Hi Ria! Good question! Instead of dates, you could use any other dried fruit like apricots or raisins. You can also use some light agave syrop (to your taste). It's good to use something sugary cause it makes the crust more sticky. Hope that helps! Love!

Hi Adrienne! In this recipe this is the way I'm doing it. It's obviously not something you should eat everyday! Sometimes I would put bananas and coconut meat to lighten the filling a touch. Love!

Hi - can you give me a good substitute for the dates? Don't like the intense sugars found in dates - find them hard to digest unless it is intensely sunny (Vit D) to break them down properly....also the mac nuts you listed were not raw - are they raw or cooked? And what would be a good sub if they are not easily found raw? Thanks!

instead of dates , you could try figs but in this recipe I'd probably try passionfruit or cherries

Exactly! Regular Cashews, raw is always best, not salted or roasted obviously!
