Coconut Yogurt – Just How I like It!
Ingredients
3-4 cups young coconut meat
1 cup of water or even better of coconut water
2 capsules of probiotic
Know How Now
In order to have 3 cups of coconut meat, open 6 coconuts (approx, depending on how much meat you find in a coconut).
Save the water of the coconut for later! Dont waste!
Scoop out the coconut meat. Pay attention that there must be no bits of shell in the meat.
Put the coconut meat, 1 cup of water (or coconut water) in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour the mixture in a bowl and open the 2 capsules of probiotic, stick the powder in the mixture and mix.
You will see if your probiotic powder is still active when it actually makes the yogurt!
Now put the bowl in a dehydrator (@105deg).
Let the whole dehydrate for 3 hours, or until the texture becomes fluffy.
The yogurt has to be white (if it’s pink or purple, don’t eat!).
Variation:
You can add strawberries or 1 tbsp of vanilla extract to make a strawberry or vanilla yogurt! Easy!
