Raw Food In Spain! Our holidays!

Matt and I spent a fantastic holiday in Spain!

We generally leave Europe but this time I was very happy to spend a bit of time here.

South Europe/ Mediterranee is heaven in summer!

We went to Ibiza and to an even more little island next to ibiza called Formentera.

Those 2 islands are beautiful! Formentera has white sand so the sea is crystal clear, with swimming glasses you

really think you are in an infinity pool!

I hope you can have a feel looking at the pictures I’m posting on this blog post!

Regarding our diet, well we had to accomodate with the spanish diet…

Thank god there are a LOT of fruit there in summer! And we also had rented a bungalow with our own kitchen and terrace so we could have lovely meals there. We tasted quite a few gazpacho as well on the island, even if they’re not 100% raw, I had to taste to satisfy my culinary curiosity and be able to make even better raw gazpacho myself!

Experience is key. I think that when you’re travelling, you should take the most of what a country has to offer within the limits you are allowing yourself and without excess so you can have a better feel of the culture and of that country overall. I hope you guys agree with me! But Tasting 2 or 3 gazpacho from these islands won’t soil my diet or mess up with my health… Andit has inspired me! :-)

For the most part, we were very happy to find a few organic producers from whom we could buy fruit and salads! I did a watermelon cure there! They are so cheap and so delicious, how could I resist? yummmm!

But the best of the best was when we were hiking, walking or riding through the country side and came across cherry trees, lemon trees, apple trees, olive trees, carob trees, etc… and there is a profusion of rosemary everywhere on those islands so you feel like being in a spa 24/7!

And now we’re back to grey and rainy London… Oh well… I still love my routine in “Lovely and Luscious London” as our flight attendant put it!

Exactly! Regular Cashews, raw is always best, not salted or roasted obviously!
