Raw Onion Bread Sandwich – I’m A Miracle!

Ingredients

1 slice of Aya’s Onion Bread
1 cup of soaked cashews
bunch of parsley and basil
Nutritional yeast
Himalayan salt
a garlic clove or garlic powder
tomatoes
sprouts
carrots

Directions

Cut the slice of bread in half (from a square to a triangle).
Make the Cream cheese by putting the soaked cashews in a high speed blender together with some garlic (to taste) and fresh hers, I suggest parsley and basil, but you can put any herbs you would like. Add 1 or 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast and a pinch of salt. Pour a touch of water to help it blend. Once the cream cheese is smooth and to your taste, put some on one side of the bread, top it up with some sprouts (I used mung bean sprouts here!), think slices of tomatoes and carrot disks (I had organic rainbow carrots, love them!)
Here we are! We have a delicious onion bread sandwich! It’s so easy to make and it’s very very yummy!

  • Nice to hear from you, I went to the Doctor today.
    My ankles and lower legs are swelling. He told me to eat more protein as my albumin and creatinin are low.
    can I still eat raw foods? to what extent?
    I enjoy raw foods. But I have to take care of my health.

    I can do with out the raw chockolate since I new to eat more protein,Thank you Audrey

      Hi Edna! I don’t think animal protein will improve your swelling situation but I’m not a doctor… Just a nutritionist 🙂
      You can eat up to 100% raw if you want to. The more raw foods you eat, the more nutrition you’re getting in your system!
      Also, there are lots of protein in vegetables, nuts,seeds and leafy greens. You should look into that as vegan proteins are better for your health.

  • Hi I’m a naturopathic nutritional therapist, if you are experiencing swelling this could be that you are added too much salt as sodium holds onto water try cutting down on the salt levels try raw celtic sea salt which should be grey and moist. I find that when I add even natural salt such as pink himalayan crystal salt I still feel when there is too much in my system e.g. little hard white spots or blisters such as cold sores, feeling achey, the manifestation of a cold or flue (releasing internalised mucus from dairy, acidic foods and salt after all mucus tastes salty. the 8 essential amino acids can be found in bee pollen, spirulina, wheatgrass or barley grass juice, not all of the 8 essential are in nuts and seeds
